90 Days in the Gospels: Chronologically

I don't know about you, but sometimes when I read the Bible, I get super confused because it's all out of order in spots.

I know, I know. There are many reasons for that: different POVs, it's a compilation, there are overlaps . . . etc. etc. etc.

I try. I really REALLY try. But a lot of the times I get so lost in distraction that I can't focus. Thoughts like, "Didn't I read this already?" or "Wasn't this slightly different somewhere else in scripture?" or even "Where in the timeline is this because I don't understand what happened in which order." Those distractions send me down a wild goose chase of tracking down the answers and then I just never get back to what I was reading to begin with and I never make any progress in actually getting through the text.

Maybe it's just me. Even if it is though, I want to invite you on a journey that I am currently taking: the gospels in chronological order, verse by verse. Because I want to be close to God. I am not reading the Bible just for general knowledge; I'm reading it because I want to know who Christ was on earth and who He is eternally. I want to have a personal relationship with the trinity. And what better way to do that than to read that big ole book that He gave to us?

Join me on this journey over the course of the next three months in using some existing resources to dig into the Gospels and build on that relationship with Christ!
